Nigeria Coronavirus Cases Rises Above 300 as New Cases Confirmed
More Coronavirus cases confirmed in Nigeria as number of cases Rises Above 300.
Despite the ongoing lockdown in the country Nigeria on Friday evening confirmed 17 new coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of reported infections in the country to 305.
According to reports from The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), eight of the new cases were confirmed in Lagos, three in Katsina, and two in Abuja, the country’s capital. And for the first time, Anambra and Niger states recorded one case each.
Seventeen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported as follows:
8 in Lagos
3 in Katsina
2 in FCT
1 in Niger
1 in Kaduna
1 in Anambra

Also on Wednesday April 8 2020 a 15-man COVID-19 medical team from China arrived in Nigeria, to assist the government tackle the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) despite disapproval from some Nigerians and health workers’ groups.
