Tekashi 6ix9ine made an endowment of $200K to the No Kid Hungry Foundation, but the organization has rejected his money.
In a post shared by the rappers on his Instagram page that he was giving $200K to the No Kid Hungry Foundation, in support of the Organization as there seek to end child hunger in America. owing to the fact that the current pandemic have rendered alot of business cripple and families broke. 6ix9ine makes kind gesture as to help out. However, his representatives have reportedly been informed that they do not want his money.
According to Complex, The No Kid Hungry Foundation Rejects Tekashi 6ix9ine’s $200K Donation.
“We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous offer to donate to No Kid Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation,” said Laura Washburn, the director of strategic communications. “As a child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do not align with our mission and values.”
It appears that the No Kid Hungry Foundation believes in the “not all money is good money” saying.
Tekashi claps back at the No Kid Hungry upon learning his donation was rejected, and he’s making what some might consider a valid point.
The rapper writes, “@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children I never seen something so cruel.”
Although its commendable that No Kid Hungry is standing firm on their principles. However, others could equally argue back that money is money, and if the guy wants to spend it over a bunch for a good cause … why not just take it?
